Christie Welch, Phd, OT Reg. (Ont.) is an Occupational Therapist and a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Bloorview Research Institute. Her research focuses on understanding autism based on perspectives of people who identify as autistic. She is particularly focused on embodied elements of autism such as movement control and ability to maintain a calm yet alert state.
